About the role
You will be responsible to ensure accurate and timely accounting and billing for Cargo Export Billing & Sales including Cargo Charter. Supervise accurate billing for Cargo Account Settlement System (CASS) and non-CASS agents, General Sales Agent (GSA), station sales, Credit customers, government bodies & Charter customers on due dates. Manage all Cargo Revenue Accounting activities related to Cargo billing. Ensure Cargo Correction advice (CCAs) for adjustment is timely and correctly captured, processed and accounted by BPO. Responsible on Cargo Revenue Accounting (CRA) activities including Export Billing, Export Sales, Cargo Charter and Reference data filling performed by our outsourced processing unit BPO.
Key responsibilities
- Validate and seek approval for Cargo Revenue Accounting (CRA) system Export Billing & Sales, Cargo Charter reference master update. Continuously perform quality checks on all the reference tables.
- Supervise and manage via BPO accurate and complete Export Billing & Sales for CASS and non-CASS agents, GSAs, station sales (including Doha), Government bodies, Subsidiaries and Cost Centre billing for Service Cargo. Responsible on ensuring customers are being billed and invoice is send as per CASS/ Non-CASS billing timeline. Ensure accuracy and robustness of related process.
- Responsible in completeness of export billing in Cargo Revenue Accounting system and to ensure zero Air waybills pending for export billed.
- Have good understanding of CASSLink 2.0 functions, CASS participation process for the Airlines & applicable IATA resolutions pertaining to Billing.
- Makes arrangements for the completion of new station cut over to Export Billings and Cargo Account Settlement System (CASS) representation by QR.
- Assists BPO and ensure Cargo Export Billing & Sales processing activates are carried out as per the timeline. Supervise and monitor BPO activities related to Export Billing & Sales, billing and accounting in line with SLA/KPI agreement.
- To prepare New or Revise the existing IAPs and SOPs and ensure it is comprehensive enough in order for the document to be used as a reference.
- Perform Testing in the CRA system, document the test scenario with test result (pass and fail conditions) and submit the report to Manager — CRA.
- Raise to IT for any system defect, support, or enhancement required in CRA System.
- Manage stock control tasks including liaising with BPO and station cargo team on stock reconciliation.

About you
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Business Admin or equivalent and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Good Command of English language
- Knowledge of IATA CASS Billing Resolution & Airline CASS participation process
- Knowledge of IATA CASS 2.0 Airline functions
- Experience working in Cargo revenue accounting in Airline or BPO
- Have prior understanding of in house or BPO processing with hands on experience on a fully integrated Cargo Revenue Accounting System.
- Good in analytical skills, MS Office suite, Oracle ERP or equivalent
- Able to work and deliver time sensitive items and exercise time and priority principle
- Knowledge of BI tools (Business Objects, Power BI or Tableau)
Preferred
- Knowledge in Oracle ERP system.
- CROAMIS or RAPID system knowledge or any Cargo Revenue Accounting system available in the spanet.
- Knowledge of using IATA Cargo Account Settlement System (CASS) & IATA CNS.
- Hands on experience on doing processing in any Cargo revenue accounting system & Oracle ERP.
