Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $35.76-$40.76/Hour
This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors, (geographical location, etc.)
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
Support the configuration management and release process for software and firmware products across cross-functional engineering teams.
Collaborate with hardware, software, test, and installation teams to align build schedules and initiate packaging processes.
Develop and evaluate system installation procedures for all software and firmware releases.
Review, create, and execute build documentation in coordination with technicians and subject matter experts to ensure product quality.
Manage software and firmware configuration to maintain version control, traceability, and secure storage.
Ensure error-free, repeatable builds for all media versions, with the ability to replicate across development and post-development phases.
Verify consistency across test, production, and final lab/shipboard environments.
Coordinate shipments of media to customer locations and manage release postings and notifications.
Track and manage license inventories for servers and network switches, ensuring compliance and usage accuracy.
Contribute to the development of contract-required documentation and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; or equivalent experience
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required by federal law)
Minimum 2 years of related configuration or technical experience.
Solid understanding of MIL-HDBK-61, DoD standards, and configuration management best practices.
Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools such as Windchill
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong knowledge of internal configuration/data management policy compliance
