Position Summary
Coordinate activities for the execution of continuous improvement projects aligned with the objectives of the Division, using the application of Parkers Lean System tools, with the objective of impacting the metrics of Cost, Quality, Productivity and Safety in their various modalities described in the Win Scorecard.
Responsibilities
- Develop work plans in coordination with the owners of the Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing Value Stream leaders.
- Coordinate the execution of the plans and provide support and training during the execution and monitoring phases.
- Promote the use of Parkers Lean System tools and problem-solving methodology.
- Achieve quantifiable objectives in terms of Cost, Quality, Productivity, and Safety units, according to monthly and annual plans.
- Coordinate and/or facilitate improvement projects and Kaizen events with the functional owners and teams associated with the event.
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial, manufacturing or mechanical Engineering.
- Bilingual - English
- Knowledge and application of lean tools (Kanban, Standard work, TPM, 6s. Kaizen events, Material flow, , SMED, Visual management etc.).
- Knowledge of engineering, quality and manufacturing processes.
- Desired knowledge of risk assessment and risk prevention Tools (PPAPS, AMEF).
- Proficiency in Statistical Quality techniques and Leading improvement projects.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills (8D, Pareto, Ishikawa, 5 whys).
- Organizational, teamwork, and leadership abilities
