We are looking for a Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to join our Legal and Compliance team in Copenhagen in a role with ownership, diversity and the servicing of Satair stakeholders and our subsidiaries worldwide. In this role you will be working in a global commercial and logistics environment in the aviation industry.
What the job is …
You will join a team of three other legal counsels providing legal advice to the organisation, reporting to the Head of Legal and Compliance. The team has a relaxed social working environment with skilled, engaged and helpful colleagues. Being a 100 owned subsidiary of Airbus SAS, we are a part of a well functioning network of over 200 lawyers worldwide within the Airbus Group.
Your main responsibilities:
Support the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts within distribution and sales of spare parts and services and general procurement, including IT and digital
Work with business stakeholders to assess legal implications and potential risk
Advise on various legal matters, including competition law, confidentiality, legal obligations and risk management
Draft, adapt and manage standard documentation depending on the business needs
Organise regular legal trainings and awareness to improve business understanding of key legal issues
Participate in various cross-functional projects
Ensure compliance with data protection laws, including the GDPR, and overseeing all aspects of data processing activities within the organization
Support the Compliance Officer in managing the company&39;s compliance framework, including ensuring that compliance clauses are accurately incorporated into contracts
How you will contribute to the team
We are looking for a committed and passionate person to join our dynamic and engaged team, with relevant experience in commercial transactions gained in an international law firm or in-house and up for a new challenge.
You hold a Master of Law degree (Cand.jur or Cand.merc.jur or equivalent foreign degree)
You have experience from another global legal company
You demonstrate solid contract law experience (ideally with exposure to both civil and common law systems)
Experience with Danish, US and/or UK law would be an advantage.
You have a pro-active, practical, structured, and business-oriented approach
You have high professional integrity and ethical standards, and you can demonstrate an appropriate level of credibility
You are confident in your own ability to engage in dialogue in a cross functional and multicultural context
You have an excellent command of both written and spoken English.
