Responsible for setting up and operating assigned laser machines.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
The qualified associate who assumes these responsibilities will be expected to:
- Ability to operate a laser machine (6 Months-1 year preferred)
- Gages Experience
- Manufacturing background
- Knowledge of applied mathematics
- Read, understand and utilize procedures, sketches, and blueprints as well as perform basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to perform precise and detailed work
- Communicate effectively and professionally with others, both written and verbal within the team
- Follow and promote safe work practices
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates machine manually and inputs data (MDI)
- Sets focal point and takes power reading
- Sets up tool, jigs, fixtures and laser heads
- Loads and unloads parts according to work instructions
- Sets fixture offsets as required
- Utilizes precision measuring instruments to inspect parts
- Maintains accurate work records
- Willingness to support team concept and learn/perform other duties as required
