The Kit Coordinator ensures kit availability in support of retrofit solutions is managed to meet Customer commitments. This includes not only P&O activity but includes planning fleet-wide stocking to support Airworthiness Directives and other fleet projects (reliability, product improvement, etc) that are introduced over the product life cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and executes kit demand requirements for product development, customer specific projects and aircraft upgrades.
- Monitors active customer deliverables ensuring critical supply dates are accurate within DHC’s comprehensive ERP system.
- Engages with stakeholders such as purchasing, quality, engineering and inventory control to ensure material is available to enable the building of Kits.
- Responds to lead time and cost quote requests from internal and external customers.
- Identifies and prioritizes component shortages to ensure Kit availability meets customers deadlines.
- Works with purchasing to understand constraints on costs, lead time and raw material.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Equivalent Preferred.
- 2-5 years in Customer Service environment, knowledge of planning/procurement beneficial.
