ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Shared responsibility for finished goods meeting or exceeding customer expectations
Understand the expansion and inspection process (training required)
Monitor tube within heater for signs of expansion
Check and verify production information
Prepare for upcoming jobs
Machine setup and operation
Identify materials for each job
Load material into machines
Sets wall on tubing by using calipers and other measuring devices
Make labels for tubing and properly complete production reports.
Proper use of measuring devices (measurement training required)
Follow directions from drawings, standard work and work instructions
Adhere to quality standards and guidelines. Maintain accurate records
Maintain work area in clean and orderly fashion, follow 5S practices
Report production issues to Value Stream Team Leader
Perform work of an equal or lower classification
DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work safely in accordance with regulations, standards, and procedures, and in a manner that eliminates unreasonable risk to health and the environment. Notify management of unsafe conditions or practices, unlawful activities and activities which present unreasonable health and/or environmental risk. Report all safety and/or environmental incidents to management immediately.
Prevent excess waste of product and/or components by operating the equipment in an efficient manner.
Participate in peer-based teams (i.e., Natural High Performance Teams), and work with groups to initiate and implement programs such as Lean Manufacturing and 5-S.

Minimum Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Skills/Competencies:
Physical & PPE Requirements:
Standing, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, lifting and carrying (up to 50 lbs.), walking, working under normal conditions. Exposure to hot machinery (sintering ovens), fluoropolymer resin and isopar fumes. Steel-toed shoes, safety glasses and ear plugs (85-90 dB) are all required when working in the manufacturing plant. All PPE provided by Company.

The employee may be subject to:
Work in areas where safety equipment will be required (steel toe shoes, eye protection, hearing protection)
Standing is required for extended periods of time. Walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, turning, twisting, squatting, and lifting is performed on a regular basis
Requires high degree of manual dexterity, which could be performed under restrictive conditions
Requires flexible hours and short notice for overtime.
The employee may be required to follow other job-related instructions and to perform other job-related duties as requested, subject to all applicable state and federal laws.
