Your primary mission will be to support business sites by crafting and implementing innovative strategies that promote harmony and productivity among our teams. In this role, youll coach leaders on performance & behavior management, support policy implementation, and leverage data analysis to propose initiatives for positive ER. Collaborate with HR, Legal, and business leaders to foster excellence.
This position is a seasoned professional within the Human Resources discipline who works to interpret and explain human resources policies, assist leadership in addressing issues related to performance and recognition, and coordinates with employees regarding complex employee relations issues.

What You Will Do:
Effectively support key HR processes and best practices to align HR initiatives with strategic objectives
Develop reciprocal working relationships with HR colleagues, leaders, and employees
Analyze employee relations trends and recommend and develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies
Assist and coach managers regarding employee relations, investigations, compliance, performance management, corrective actions, and employee development
Coach Managers through challenging performance management situations and support managers in developing and communicating plans to address areas of improvement
Train frontline leaders in employee relations topics and processes to ensure compliance and partnership
Conducts investigations, communicates regularly regarding pending investigations, provides timely investigation reports, and outlines the applicable corrective actions
Counsel employees on performance, career planning and other topics
Executes the termination process to ensure smooth employee separations
Objectively assess and bring to resolution employee relations issues, partnering with legal and ethics committees as needed.
Use and demonstrate continuous improvement tools and methodology to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes and tools
Host Employee Insight Sessions, incorporating employee survey results and analysis to optimize action planning
Lead new leader integration activates to ensure organizational success
Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment regulations
Embody, influence. and drive Collins culture throughout the business

Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience

Prior HR experience
Qualifications We Prefer:
On-site work in Melbourne, FL; candidates must be local to the preferred location. Relocation assistance will not be provided.
Prior employee relations experience: knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, statues, which govern employment policies and practices
Experience working in a highly matrixed organization, manufacturing environment, and/or multiples sites
Experience coaching, consulting and influencing leaders regarding the importance of good “people” practices and the links to business success
Experience coaching and developing all levels
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and engage stakeholders at all levels

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
