ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM: Business Operations Graduate
We have a rich heritage of over 25 years in delivering cutting-edge border management solutions and today, these cover the entire passenger journey, end-to-end. We enable borders with seamless processes and robust security that create an environment of trust and efficiency. We enable more than 2.2 billion traveler journeys every year (that’s 85 of all international air passengers), seamlessly integrating with over 600 airlines through our ‘single window’ gateway. The Business Operations Graduate reports to the SITA at Borders Head of Business Operations (HBO) who is responsible for managing the operations of the business, including the execution and management of our business goals, strategic initiatives and internal communications. This varied role will provide the graduate with the opportunity to collaborate across other functions within the business unit including strategy, customer growth, spaneting, project delivery, product management and commercial.

Your role will be to support the Head of Business Operations, in executing specific business tasks to support the day-to-day operations of the business as well as strategic and transformational initiatives.

Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Supporting operational and strategic projects related to the running of the Borders business under the direction of the Head of Business Operations.
- Internal employee communications including managing the internal communications calendar, creating newsletters, emails, surveys, presentations, videos, organizing internal events such as staff calls, monitoring the communications mailbox, promoting news on our internal chat forum.
- Knowledge Management, managing and building content on our internal sharepoint, including organization charts and team charters.
- Maintain the SITA at Borders Operating Framework to support effective collaboration across our teams.
- Organize meetings, including preparation of agendas, co-ordination of logistics, compilation and distribution of documentation and presentations, handle follow-up actions where necessary.
EXPERIENCE:
- Business management, Marketing or Human Resources related degree or strong preference for a career in these professions.
- Worked as part of a busy team in a customer-orientated environment, strong at multi-tasking and dealing with people at all levels in an organisation.
COMPETENCIES:
- Excellent English with fluency in a non-English language an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, especially MS Teams, Sharepoint and PowerPoint.
- Works well independently and confident to liaise with international teams.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Creative skills, both written and visual, and content management experience, perhaps from an educational or business environment.
- Experience or interest in aviation, security, customs, and border management.
