Job Description

As a Repair Technician, you will perform assembly testing, troubleshooting, and repair of FAA-approved temperature-controlled containers. You will manage the warehouse and material movement, patch holes on cargo containers, and handle the deriveting and riveting of cargo containers. Your role will include ensuring containers are delivered clean and free from defects, responding to technical assistance requests from customers, providing training and demonstrations of Active Systems, documenting all work performed, and monitoring stock of spare parts. Additionally, you will be responsible for picking up and dropping off RKNs from and to customers while maintaining the repair facility in a clean, safe, and operational condition.

Qualifications

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Avionics and Electrical testing and repair experience highly desired
• Mechanical experience beyond assembly line work.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Work Environment

The repair facility is located at ORD and is dedicated to providing cold chain shipping solutions. You will work on the second shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM in a warehouse that is clean and not temperature-controlled, though it maintains a comfortable environment.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
