Job Description:
Airbus Upnext is launching a new cross divisional demonstrator that will deliver strategic outputs to all Airbus divisions. It will help reinforcing knowledge and capacity to propose disruptive and differentiating avionics architecture and advanced awareness sensors to enrich Airbus Helicopters future products.
Following initial exploration from VERTEX and other UpNext demonstrators, sense & avoidance technologies such as cameras and LiDARs as well as aircraft robust positioning even in case of GPS loss will be further developed up to high level of maturity for helicopter use. Those technologies will be used to increase the crew&39;s awareness of the environment through a novel Human Machine Interface, better adapted to new on-board technologies.
This job is based in Marignane, comes with a limited contract (CDI-C) linked to the deliverable of the demonstrator (end of June 2028).

The mission
As the demonstrator&39;s Project Management Officer, you will be the right hand to the Head of Demonstrator, ensuring the project runs smoothly and meets its ambitious goals. You will be at the heart of it, driving its operational rhythm and ensuring performance is tracked and managed effectively.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Stakeholder Management
Support the management of key stakeholders, including internal customers, corporate leadership, external partners and funding agencies, in order to ensure continuous alignment and clear communications.
Set up and run the project&39;s steering committee with representatives of the key internal stakeholders, to ensure that the project&39;s goals and project remain aligned with their needs and expectations.

What you bring:
Demonstrated seniority in project management, with strong command of monitoring and controlling project budget and schedule. Knowledge on Airbus PM tools & Project Management Certificate would be a plus.
Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in contract management, tendering processes and supplier relations.
Proven ability to manage project risks and opportunities, coupled with excellent stakeholder communication and reporting skills.
Exposure to public funding application and management process, ideally in the Research & Technology (R&T) field.
An agile and proactive mindset, with the autonomy to take initiative and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, startup-like environment.
Eagerness to take initiatives to propose simpler and efficient ways of working. Impatience and burning desire to attain rapidly, along with a healthy skepticism for progress.
Strong French & English communication skills. Values of transparency, humility & empathy. Autonomy, adaptability, availability & accountability.
Readiness to step out of your comfort zone. Team player mindset and willingness to have fun.
Experience / interest in Software development would be a plus, to support the team in case of need
