The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Mesa, AZ; or North Charleston, SC.
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Cloud Data Architecture leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading, designing and implementing innovative data and cloud architecture solutions that empower our organization to make informed, data-driven decisions. As a Cloud Data Architecture leader, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to thoroughly understand business requirements and translate them into high reliable solution designs. You will then lead highly scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions tailored to address specific business challenges. This role demands a deep understanding of cloud and data technologies, along with a proven track record in developing repeatable and reusable data architecture frameworks. Position Responsibilities:
Define the strategy to build highly reliable and scalable data and analytics cloud platforms that align with the organization’s business goals and objectives
Lead the creation and implementation of scalable, secure and cost-effective data architecture patterns and frameworks
Establish architecture best practices, along with comprehensive standards and guardrails for Data and AI workloads
Lead, design and implement Self-Service frameworks that empower business units to develop solutions in compliance with enterprise standards, promoting autonomy and innovation
Consolidate legacy platforms into a single platform for achieving single source of truth and reducing technology debt
Lead and mentor teams including data engineers, platform engineers and product owners by promoting a culture of continuous learning, innovation and skill development
Lead and Influence cloud adoption and cloud economics frameworks, maturity models and longer-term cloud strategy at the organizational level
Lead organizational change for the adoption of new platforms, self-service tools and analytics workflows
Own all communication and collaboration channels pertaining to strategy and assigned projects, including regular stakeholder, senior leadership and cross-team updates
Demonstrated ability to establish working relationships with vendors (Technology and Consulting), Partners and cross teams and holding them accountable
Drive automation, standardization, DevOps/CI-CD practices in data operations
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of experience with building data and analytics applications specialization in Data Architecture, Databases, Data warehouses and Data modeling
8+ years of experience with Python, Spark, R, SQL or other equivalent programming languages
5+ years of experience leading, designing and building highly scalable cloud architecture patterns and frameworks
5+ years of experience working on AWS Data and Analytics Tool stack or Databricks to build repeatable and reusable frameworks for building Data and AI Solutions
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in the manufacturing domain within SAP
3+ years of experience implementing Near Real time and Streaming IoT solutions
3+ years of experience in application integration, APIs and Microservices
3+ years of experience in Data Science, Statistics, Machine Learning and GenAI
Experience with presentation, visualization, and analysis

Summary pay range: $165,750 – $240,350
