THE WORK
At Derco. A Lockheed Martin Company, our Supply Chain Management Team is leading the charge in procuring material across a diverse global supply base to support the sustainment of multiple aircraft platforms around the world.

As a Project Management and Planning Operations Manager within the Derco Supply Chain Management organization you will lead a geographically diverse team of approximately 11 Supply Chain professionals and be responsible for the management and oversight of the following:

• Ensuring that Supply Chain Management Policies are up to date and in compliance with FAR/DFAR as well as Derco Policy.
• Managing Supply Chain Management training plans for the greater Derco Supply Chain organization.
• Overseeing the management of Derco’s $80M FEA to include inventory management and material forecasting, ensuring that proper inventory levels are on hand to maximize inventory turns and sales.
• Managing supplier PIA agreements and working approval through TLS contracts.
• Managing Derco’s Small Business Program to include Mentor Protégé requirements as well as Derco’s Govt Property requirements.
• Oversight over Derco’s Supply Chain Tech Team.

WHO YOU ARE
You are a strategic and analytical leader with a strong foundation in supply chain management, statistics, and compliance, who possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead a geographically diverse team and collaborate with stakeholders. You should also have a unique blend of technical skills, including experience with government contracts, data analysis, and material forecasting, as well as a strong understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) supplements.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following fields: supply chain, statistics, mathematics, engineering, material cost estimating, contracts, compliance, financial analysis, cost analysis, material forecasting.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation (DFAR) supplements.
• Ability to capture and analyze large data sets from multiple sources and create substantiated material estimates and forecasts.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

This position requires travel, on average 25 domestically and internationally.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with government contracts and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, specifically Section 15
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate departmental and program messages effectively to both LM personnel and the customer.
• Experience developing organizational training plans.
• Master’s degree in finance, supply chain, engineering, or MBA

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
