This new role hasbeen created due to rapid growth in the Americas and is focused on our topmajor projects. The position aims to build on our current bench strength ofcontractors in the electrical and mechanical installation segment by finding,onboarding, and developing them to provide strong, responsive, and competitivesolutions to our end customers.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and drive contractor and materials procurement for major projects in alignment with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Strategic Plan. You will be responsible for driving competitive supply strategies to achieve the lowest total cost, reduced working capital through negotiation planning and execution, high growth region sourcing, value engineering, and sole/single source elimination.
- You will manage supplier performance to support your business and ensure supply continuity and subcontract availability. You will be managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment and ensuring compliance with company business policies and procedures, as well as export/import regulations.
- Drive and execute the Annual and Strategic Plan with supporting strategies.
- Take total ownership for driving cross-functional alignment and ensuring productivity (savings) goals are met.
- Execute strategies quickly and effectively to align with business growth and new product introductions.
- Manage category and commodity strategies, including spend analysis, benchmarking, cost, market analysis, and global technology/economic trends around major projects.
- Find, onboard, and build new relationships with key suppliers and subcontractor leadership.
- Build a world-class workforce that creates a competitive advantage by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent.
- Align with sales, marketing, technology, business, operations, finance, quality, and other Honeywell businesses.
- Manage and comply with sourcing processes and performance through an effective management operating system.
YOU MUST HAVE- 10+ years experience in Procurement or Project Management for large projects
- 6+ years in a leadership-level role
WE VALUE- Bachelors Degree.
- Significant experience in procurement.
- Multi-country leadership experience in supply management, sourcing, procurement, and business.
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen.
- Experience with SAP, e-sourcing platforms, request for quotation tools, and project management tools.
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools.
- Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic global environment.
