Core Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to execute people strategies aligned with business goals, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, and addressing staffing challenges.
- Understand business needs and implement sustainable HR strategies that support organizational growth.
- Collaborate with leaders to develop talent capabilities, strengthen bench strength, and build a high-performing, motivated, and engaged workforce.
- Manage and lead compensation and benefits initiatives to ensure competitiveness and alignment with spanet benchspans.
- Administer performance reviews and salary review exercises in line with the Talent Management System (TMS) and pay-for-performance philosophy.
- Leverage the TMS to support succession planning and enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, addressing employee concerns and facilitating regular feedback sessions.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, work pass applications/renewals, employment contracts, confirmation reviews, and accurate record maintenance in HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with the Singapore and Malaysian Employment Acts, handling statutory requirements, audits, and related HR policies.
- Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to provide insights and data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
- Handle statutory reporting and labor spanet surveys in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Undertake ad hoc HR projects or initiatives as assigned to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 5 to 8 years of progressive HR generalist experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing HR operations in Singapore and Malaysia with strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and local labor regulations
- Strong understanding of HR practices with a proven track record of implementing effective people solutions in a dynamic, complex organization.
