THE TEAM
The Group Tax team is a collaborative and high-performing part of easyJet’s wider Finance function, made up of dedicated specialists across all areas of tax. You’ll join a team that works closely together to support the business and drive value creation.
THE ROLE
As Group Tax Manager, you’ll play a pivotal leadership role within the Group Tax function, shaping and executing easyJet’s corporate and international tax strategy while ensuring full compliance with UK and global tax obligations. You’ll operate in a UK listed environment, managing tax risk, governance, and income tax reporting, and acting as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders across finance and the wider business.
- Support the development and implementation of the Group’s tax strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
- Lead international tax planning and structuring and international tax obligations, including cross-border transactions and operational expansion
- Provide proactive, commercially focused tax advice to senior finance and business stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for tax efficiencies and sustainable value creation
- Oversee corporation tax compliance across the Group, ensuring timely and accurate filings
- Ensure robust processes for tax audits, enquiries, and disputes, engaging directly with HMRC and overseas authorities
- Lead preparation and review of Group tax reporting under IFRS, including current and deferred tax provisions
- Ensure integrity and timely delivery of tax disclosures in Group and statutory accounts
- Support Board and Audit Committee reporting, articulating tax strategy, risks, and positions
- Manage and develop one direct report, fostering a high-performance team culture
- Support integration of tax considerations into business transformation programmes and drive adoption of best-in-class practices across compliance, reporting, and governance
