The Opportunity

You will help to develop understanding of the importance of Export Control to bring competitive advantage for the company - and to mitigate any further potential exposure to penalties, debarment, consent agreements etc.Who We Are Looking For
Reporting directly to the Head of Export Control - Airbus Commercial, the Export Control Manager – Spain is responsible for developing export controls compliance in a pragmatic way and implementing all export control regulations, notably the national and the US regulations that Airbus Commercial in Spain is subject to.You constantly seek to continuously improve, have a strong attention to detail and enjoy collaborating in a team.You are organised, action orientated, customer-focused and proactive.You excel at multi-tasking and know how to set priorities in order to meet tight deadlines.How You Will Contribute
- You will work on all export control matters handled by the department, as a support for the more sectorally focused team members, including Spanish, EU and US export regulations.
- You will apply for export licenses to Spanish military or Dual-use administrations and US as well if needed
- You will ensure license/agreements management
- Participate to business meetings to de-risk export control issues as early as possible, notably through contract or design reviews.
- You will raise awareness of export control issues, help identify who needs required training and lead training sessions.
- You will help the definition and implementation of the internal compliance program and Technology Control Plans
- You will travel as required to support local export control teams (team meetings, business support, etc.)
Skills and Experience Required
- You have 2&43; years of experience working in a complex and highly regulated multinational environment advising on international trade and export control matters;
- You have strong knowledge of industrial aerospace and defence export environment – specifically Spain, EU, US military and dual-use export controls;
- You have excellent communication skills and ability to write and edit policies and procedures, reports and memorandums;
- IT skills: working knowledge of the Microsoft Pack Office and SAP
- Languages: Commercially fluent in English and Spanish; knowledge of French and German is a plus.
