Job Title: Avionics ManagerJob Description & Responsibilities Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives for a high-end, technical lab providing world-class repair and overhaul of aircraft avionics components such as weather radar, navigation/communication systems, autopilot systems, and accessories in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and FAA guidelines.
- Review and monitor repair and overhaul activities to meet customer and stock demands.
- Coach, develop, motivate, and mentor direct reports.
- Coordinate communication with customers regarding quotations, repairs, and delivery.
- Establish technician schedules to ensure quality and on-time delivery of products to meet specifications.
- Prepare and review lab reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
- Coordinate and interface closely with other departments regarding repair lab activities.
Essential Skills- Experience in avionics
- Knowledge/certification of Part 145 repair station regulations
- Familiarity with FAA guidelines
