You will assemble and inspect product to ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production and quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical and/or electronic devices and assemblies referring to engineering specs, prints, layouts and/or verbal instructions.
- Check and adjust for balance, alignment, tension, spacing, physical dimensions, outputs and adjustable parameters and record non-adjustable parameters.
- Use a variety of manual and automated mechanical, electrical and optical checking equipment.
- Calculate raw data and adjust/calibrate assemblies to achieve the final specification as required.
- Check faulty assemblies using mechanical checking equipment.
- Analyze and diagnose findings to determine defects and method of repair.
- Disassembles, replaces parts, readjust and reassemble devices to complete repairs.
- Perform electronic troubleshooting at the level consistent with the schooling required as indicated at the end of this job description.
- May assist or instruct other Electro-Mechanical Builders or employees at lower labor grades.
The annual base salary range for this position is $30.93/ hour. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE- High School Diploma
- Two or more classes of progressive electronics training from an accredited college or university. (Intro to Electronics I and II, etc)
WE VALUE- Handles lightweight parts and materials.
- Works seated or standing.
- Occasionally handles heavy fixtures.
