PDS Tech Commercial is growing our team of experienced Airframe & Powerplant Technicians to support PDS Tech’s client, a global leader in aviation, at its state-of-the-art facility in Opa Locka, FL. About the RoleAs an Airframe & Powerplant Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and performance of high-performance aircraft. Your expertise will support maintenance operations that meet the highest industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on customer aircraft
Document work in accordance with regulatory and company standards
Install and remove mechanical and electrical components
Operate ground support equipment and support aircraft fueling and de-fueling
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to safe, efficient maintenance operations
Support off-site maintenance when required, including service order management and aircraft return-to-service procedures
QualificationsRequired:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate
Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years on corporate aircraft
Local candidates only; per diem not available
Strong ability to read engineering/mechanical drawings and communicate effectively
Must provide and manage own basic hand tools
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and in varying weather conditions
Must be eligible for a SIDA badge, if required
Preferred:
Experience working on corporate jet aircraft
Familiarity with SAP or other aviation maintenance systems
Ground Support Equipment certification

Pay Details: $35.00 to $43.00 per hour
