Job DescriptionPerform inspections, scheduled heavy maintenance, and modifications at the West Virginia Air Center. This role involves working in a PART 145 / MRO facility in a fast-paced, project-based environment, focusing on CRJ aircraft.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspections and scheduled heavy maintenance on CRJ aircraft.
- Work on aircraft modifications at a PART 145 / MRO facility.
- Complete tasks in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Ensure adherence to specific timeframes for task completion.
- Provide overhaul, heavy maintenance, repair, and installation services.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Work independently under time constraints.
Essential Skills- 2+ years of C&D check experience.
- Experience working in MRO or DEPOT level environments.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Must provide own tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with CRJ aircraft is preferred.

Work Environment
This position supports the MHI RJ Service Center at the West Virginia Air Center. The role involves working in a heavy MRO environment, supporting heavy C/D checks on CRJ aircraft for Regional Airlines. It is a fast-paced environment with specific timeframes to complete tasks, typically with a 7-10 day turnaround for aircraft overhaul. The facility operates 24/7 with shifts from 7a-7p and 7p-7a. The dress code is casual (T-shirts and shorts/jeans) with steel-toed shoes. Standard PPE, including safety glasses/goggles, is required at all times on the shop floor. Additional PPE may be required depending on the task. The company provides all necessary safety training during the initial week-long orientation class.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
