Responsibilities:Administrative duties as required & directed by the Cargo Operations ManagerHandle incoming calls from the customers, booking of freight in AC Cargo systems WeblynxImplement load plan and coordinate with warehouse / ramp team to ensure best use of available space/weight for each flightCheck of Dangerous Goods documentation and export documentationMonitoring of ULD stocks and managing movements to secure operational stock levelsPerform S4A/smartload entries (weight & balance), monitor and coordinate ramp activitiesFollow and adhere to Cargo procedures and policies, compile flight documentation filesReport any safety and/or security issue with regard to the cargo operations (shipments, equipment, loading, etc.)Maintain a constructive continuous working relationship with all internal and external customers and service providersActual duties and responsibilities may include any or all of the functional duties & responsibilities listed above plus any other related tasks as assigned by the employee’s superior
QualificationsPost graduate degree or diploma in freight forwarding or airline is an assetPrevious experience in cargo sales and/or services (6 – 24 months)Knowledge of dangerous Goods is an assetKnowledge of Cargo IT systems is an asset
Conditions of Employment:Candidates must be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time any offer of employment is made and are responsible for obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations necessary for employment. Prior to their start date, candidates will also need to provide proof of their eligibility to work in the country of interest.
