Job Title: Parts Department Specialist
Job DescriptionThis position involves supporting 40+ technicians working on various types of small aircraft, interfacing with outside customers, and managing internet sales. The role is a blend of office work and traditional warehouse duties. The employee will have a desk, a workstation, a computer, and will also be certified to operate a forklift for shipping and receiving tasks.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping and receiving processes
- Oversee inventory management and establish reorder points for inventory items
- Generate purchase orders and reconcile PO/Invoices
- Request quotes (RFQs) and perform data entry
- Support the expansion of outside sales
- Establish discounted contracts with suppliers and shippers
- Operate vehicles including forklifts
Essential Skills- Previous aviation or aerospace material handling experience
- Ability to work with various internal departments and external customers
- Experience in logistics management, stocking, and customer service
- Proficiency in inventory management and forklift operation
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience working with Pentagon 2000 or Corridor software/inventory management systems

Work Environment
The work is conducted in climate-controlled FAA regulated hangars. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a casual dress code.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Englewood, Colorado.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
