Key duties 

    Process refund and credit requests promptly in accordance with regulatory requirements and Air Canada policies.Apply established procedures, training materials, and reference documents to complete refund and credit functions accurately.Determine refund/credit eligibility using manuals, tariffs, fare rules, and pricing resources.Review customer requests and conduct research to provide accurate and appropriate responses.Apply relevant policies and fare rules to issue correct refunds or decline ineligible requests.Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external partners.Communicate with customers via email and telephone in a professional and service‑oriented manner.
Qualifications

    Strong organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh degree of interpersonal skillsStrong customer service skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentGood judgement and ability to prioritize duties/tasksProficient in multi-taskingProficient in Microsoft Office, Excel experience requiredAbility to learn and use various industry specific computer programsTravel and Tourism Diploma (asset)Experience in the airline or travel industry
      Knowledge of ticketing, fares, fare rules, and taxation (asset)Tariff trainingFamiliarity with airline and city codes Experience with GDS or reservation systems
    Ability to represent the airline with professionalism, representing the best of the Air Canada brandMinimum one (1) year office experienceAccounting knowledge, an asset
