Job Description:
We are looking for two detail-oriented and strategic General Procurement Specialists (m/f/d) to manage the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services essential for our operations. The ideal candidates will ensure cost-effective purchasing and timely delivery, while maintaining high standards of quality and supplier performance.
What the job is …
With reference to the Head of Legal & Compliance, the general procurement specialists are responsible for acquiring the goods and services a company needs to operate effectively. This includes sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, purchasing goods or services, and ensuring timely delivery—all while managing costs, quality, and compliance with company policies.
Your main responsibilities:
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, service, and delivery capabilities.
Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts to secure optimal value for the company.
Manage a call for tender taking into account all internal & external drivers based on commodity strategy and all requirements including but not limited to technical, financial, quality, supply chain and strategy aspects.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring compliance with internal policies and budget constraints.
Coordinate with internal departments (finance, IT, legal, facility management, operations, etc.) to monitor supplier performance and maintain effective vendor relationships.
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
Coordinate with internal departments (finance, operations, logistics, etc.) to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with company policies, and industry best practices and regulations.
Resolve any issues related to delivery delays, product quality, or invoicing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audits and reporting.
Limited travel, depending on the tasks to be carried out.
How you will contribute to the team
We are looking for a team player who can work independently when needed and with excellent command of written and spoken English (mandatory) and Danish (preferred).
2-5&43; years of procurement or purchasing experience. Solid understanding of procurement practices, supply chain principles, and vendor management.
As a person, you are analytical, excellent in communication and organisational skills.
