AIRBUS offers an internship (curricular practicum) program aimed at students who are in the last year of their degree with the main objective of acquiring professional skills through the development of a project in the company.
What do we offer?: Internship (curricular practicum) program &43; Bachelor’s Degree Final Project (TFG).
Mission: You will prepare a final year training project that will allow you to complete your official studies.
About practical training:
6 months of curricular practicum at AIRBUS from February to July 2026
Part time: 5h / day - 25 hours per week (8h-13h)
Tutor assignment for continuous monitoring
Final project (TFG) to be carried out by the student:
In the frame of fuel systems development, the research work will include the following components:
1. CFD Simulations: (i) Perform simulations for different scenarios, varying the distance between the pipe elbows as well as their dimensions (diameter and curvature radius), (ii) Results Comparison: Evaluate the pressure losses in each scenario and present the results in comparative charts and tables, with the intention of creating a practical design manual., (iii) Development of a Detailed Guide: Create a guide document with detailed instructions for reproducing the CFD simulations. This guide should be aimed at individuals with no prior experience in using CFD tools.
2. Fuel Gauging Model Based Algorithms: setup of algorithms to determine the fuel quantity (in kg) in a fuel tank based on the charazterization of information from level sensors (capacitive, optical or physical), the 3D geometry of the fuel tank, the aircraft flight attitude, the type of fuel and the environmental conditions

As a successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Studying Degree in Engineering
English: min. level B2 (C1 desirable)
Spanish: min. level B1
General knowledge in Fluid Mechanics
Skills valued: CFD tools, Matlab / Simulink or similar
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Team spirit and great collaboration skills
Ability to work in international environment
