ACCOUNTABILITIES
Within Airbus Customer Services, “Tech Data Support & Services” (SID) is in charge of defining, producing, delivering and supporting the Technical Data (TD) products and services which are necessary for Customers to safely and efficiently operate their aircraft.
Technical Documentation is characterized by large amounts of data, configuration management, direct impact on A/L operability, complexity of the processes and associated tools, complexity and diversity of the aircraft design, multiple interfaces to manage and obtain source data from Engineering or Suppliers. And finally, this is combined with the core competence of Maintenance Operations (how aircraft are maintained by operators).
In this context, airnavX application is the Airbus solution allowing our Customers (internal & external) to browse and manage Airbus Technical Data. Since its Entry Into Service in 2017, the Online version has been complemented with the Intranet and the Standalone versions and it has been enriched with new features to ease the access to the documentation.
Moreover, during the last years, airnavX Ecosystem has been completed with 2 new services: airnavX Full Online and airnavX Editing. With these services, Airbus offers to our Customers advanced features to better manage Airbus documentation: The possibility to attach documents, images or videos in the documentation, to manage more than 2 revisions, to control the access to their documentation by the end users and to add Airline customized data directly in the manuals thanks to the editing function.
airnavX Ecosystem helps our Customers to access the Airbus Technical Data they need in an efficient way allowing them to meet their operational requirements and even to improve their operational reliability.
airnavX is accessed today by more than 50,000 end users per month from Airlines, MROs and other organizations. More than 400 Customers rely on Airbus to access the technical documentation they need to maintain and operate their aircrafts. Now more than ever they are relying on Airbus expertise and support to ensure the business continuity in their operations in the current challenging context.
Within the framework of the TD strategy and policy, the jobholder will be responsible, as 1st priority, for:
The validation of the evolutions and bug fixings of the airnavX application in its complete ecosystem (Online, Full Online, Intranet, Standalone) in the frame of the Tech Data deliveries,
in a 2nd step, supporting the customers community in regards of Incidents or questions (TechRequest).
He/She would also participate in the support analysis of the airnavX application.
MAIN ACTIVITIES
The job holder main activities are described here below:
airnavX User Acceptance Test (UAT)
Managing the test activities in coordination with airnavX Business Application Owners and in case by case with other entities: UAT Coordination team, Project Leaders, Product Leaders, to manage:
Dataset availability for tests campaigns execution
“Validation environment” test accounts availability when required
Tests execution (Functional tests and non-regression tests)
Defects opening and tracking during the test campaign
Update & maintainability of non-regression test-scripts based application evolution over the time.
Participation in the relevant meeting along the test and deployment process.
Ensure in-service support of airnavX solutions
Support and follow up in service issues raised by customers
Contribute to customer escalation resolutions in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders
Manage Customer escalation in coordination with Support Operations central team
