Summary:
Apply statistical, probabilistic, and simulation-based modeling techniques for reliability and maintainability analysis.
Support functional design teams throughout the entire product lifecycle, from concept to sustainment.
Develop and evaluate technical performance measures (TPMs) such as schedule reliability, operational availability, and maintenance costs.
Conduct failure mode analysis, allocate reliability requirements to suppliers, validate and verify requirements, support safety certifications, and plan reliability testing.
Evaluate task times, apply digital maintainability tools (e.g., VR/AR), validate maintainability requirements, and assess TPMs such as operational availability and maintenance costs.
Engage regularly with cross-functional teams, suppliers, airline customers, and internal leadership.
Manage multiple priorities and lead or contribute to high-impact engineering tasks.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or higher from an ABET-accredited (or similar) program in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
14+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of experience in reliability engineering within commercial aviation.
Experience with airplane systems design (e.g., Propulsion, Electrical, Hydraulics, Avionics, Flight Controls, etc.).
Proficiency with Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and FTA tools such as CAFTA, ReliaSoft, or FaultTree+.
Demonstrated FTA integration experience for commercial aircraft programs.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
