Software Engineer job in Huntsville, Alabama is available with Moseley Technical Services Top Defense company. In this full time, direct hire, salaried job you will support the Ground Based Midcourse (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) by performing software engineering activities in support of the programs GSS IPT.
Responsibilities:
Develop, integrate, and test embedded software for GMD Ground Systems
Design and implement software components using C++ and Java
Support system-level software integration and troubleshooting
Collaborate with systems and test engineers to ensure functional and interface compliance
Apply Agile software development practices using Atlassian toolsets
Contribute to software documentation, technical reviews, and configuration control
Travel up to 10 to support integration, test events, or program reviews
Qualifications:
- U.S. citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of related experience or a Masters degree
- Experience developing software in C++ and Java.
- Experience with Embedded software development
- Software Integration experience
- Missile Defense domain knowledge
- Ability and willingness to travel 10 to support business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of SysUML
- Familiarity with Atlassian and Agile software development practices.
- Security + Certification
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
