Job Description:

Oxygen Systems US supports commercial, military and general aviation life support equipment. The Industrial Engineer will lead the transition from development to serial production. The Industrial Engineer will be part of a collaborative team forth development and implementation of new product to the production environment.

•tWork with design engineers on new product development, design for manufacturability, and house of quality deployment.
•tEnsure effective performance of Production Equipment
•tPrototype and test procedure design for new manufacturing processes
•tCreation and maintenance of work instructions for the introduction of new products
•tDocument and improve Facility and workstation layout
•tEnsure process and facility safety
•tProvide fact-based recommendations on manufacturing purchased items in-house
•tProject Expenditure Justification
•tWork with suppliers to obtain equipment quotes
•tProcess design through common methods, such as tooling, instructions and equipment
•tPresentation of yearly Manufacturing Performance Reviews and equipment Capacity Analysis
•tPPAS and APQP deliverable creation/development and updated through serial production
•tManufacturing and continuous improvement programs, as assigned
•tAssist and drive flow improvement projects
•tAnalyze proposed requests for cost reduction or necessity for operation
•tAnalyze cost reduction possibilities and develop cost reduction proposals
•tImplement cost reductions and follow-up to assure attainment
•tConduct time studies to verify labor savings
•tDocumentation and Systems requirements
•tPrepare and maintain operation sheets
•tProcess Engineering Change Orders.
•tMaintain documentation as required in ERP system
Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education -
Required – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and 5 years of relevant experience
Related additional years of experience may be substitute for education

Experience –
Required – 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering
Preferred – 10 years of manufacturing experience

Special Knowledge/Skills –
Required -
•\tUnderstanding of and experience with engineering testing methods such as planning, executing and reporting on tests or experiments and interpretation of drawings.
•\tExperience with logical trouble shooting steps, methodologies and analysis to solve technical challenges.
•\tExperience and proficiency with technical writing; strong communication skills
•\tStrong interpersonal skills (teamwork, flexibility) to work with internal and external customers
•\tSoftware experience – MS Office Tools, Excel, CAD.

Preferred –
•\tSolid software experience – VBA programming, Solidworks, Matlab, LabVIEW
•\tPerformed Lean deployment
•\tExperience in the aerospace industry
