Job Description As an Engineering Assistant III for the ECS Hardware Calibration Team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing calibrated equipment within the F-35 test program. As a valued member of our support group, you will be responsible for overseeing the calibration of test equipment within the ESS test factories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the logistics of tracking and calibrating test equipment within the test factory, ensuring compliance with scheduled calibration events and regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment during testing, coordinating repairs and returns as needed.
- Collaborate with program management to ensure seamless communication and mitigate the impact of equipment issues on production capabilities.
- Ensure the safe and secure return of equipment to the factory, reconnecting it to associated test stations and obtaining necessary approvals from onsite security ISSO for equipment additions or removals.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve calibration and testing goals.
Physical and Work Requirements:
- Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs, with frequent lifting and moving of equipment.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
