As an Embedded Engineer II here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the design, development, and debugging of embedded software and firmware. You will collaborate cross-functionally to define system requirements and specifications and ensure the efficient, timely completion of embedded software projects.

Responsibilities
Job Expectations:
- Very good Knowledge and Experience in C++, RTOS and Linux
- Good Understanding of Embedded product development and application as well system integration.
- Good Network Programming skills and troubleshoot Ethernet/Serial Bus related network issues
- Ability to develop robust solution and detailed design from the requirements
- Ability to debug Embedded System Issues and identify the Root cause and resolution at the system level and understanding interaction with other systems.
- Ability to work independently and lead to drive the technical approach
- Ability to Estimate the deliverables
- Active participation and contribution in driving sub systems/systems integration; ability to co-ordinate with diverse set of team.
- Active participation in Innovation activities and generate the ideation within the team
Qualifications
Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics & Communication ; Certification on Embedded Systems is an advantage
- 2-6 years of experience in embedded/Software product development with exposure to full lifecycle product development
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- System Level knowledge and experience in any of the Industrial Automation products (DCS, PLC, SCADA) is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience in development of system requirements
- Good technical knowledge of Embedded Architectures/platforms
- Excellent communication skill
- Knowledge of any Configuration Management System such as Clear Case, BitBucket, etc
- Experience working in life cycle stages of Systems Life cycle & AGILE exposure.
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
