AIRCRAFT STRUCTURAL TECHNICIANS (AME-S)

WORK HOURS: Modified work week, 10.5 hour shifts; 4 days on, 3 off, current shift M-Th or Tu-F 0700-1730
LOCATION: Richmond (YVR) – Vancouver South Terminal, 4760 Inglis Drive, Richmond, ability to travel to 3rd party customer locations as required.
TERM: Full-Time Regular

COMPENSATION: $40.16 – $58.18 per hour. Qualified candidates will be placed within the range based on industry experience and previous certifications. Training and opportunities for growth available. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the rest of the structures crew to perform structural MRO work for the Harbour Air fleet and our 3rd party customers in an efficient and cost-effective manner
- Complete work orders and internal repair job cards as required with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide guidance and assistance in training and coaching of Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers
- Other duties as directed by the Structures Crew Chiefs, Coordinator and PRM
QUALIFICATIONS/ASSETS
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license AME S license, Minimum 2 years’ work experience on sheet metal structures
- Clear and proven commitment to safety (for yourself and others) in line with our “Safety First” Value
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and carry out advanced sheet metal repairs in a fast paced and safety sensitive environment
- Excellent communication skills, ability, and desire to work in a close-knit, team-based environment
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and work independently
- Willingness to work flexible schedules
- Ability to carry out physically demanding tasks
- Understanding of metallic structures and metal processes and properties required
- Ability to lead and mentor structures apprentices
- Aircraft structures experience on DHC-2, DHC-3(T) and DHC-6 an asset
- Manufacturing experience an asset
