Take the Lead in Workforce Development
PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an experienced Employee Development Specialist for a 12-month, full-time consulting assignment supporting a global aerospace leader in Everett, WA. In this high-impact role, you will empower technicians and professionals through strategic learning initiatives, curriculum design, and expert instruction—directly enhancing performance in one of the world’s most advanced industries.
What Youll Do: Make Learning a Launchpad for Excellence
As part of the delivery and facilitation team, you’ll be a key driver of employee capability and operational readiness. Your responsibilities will include:
Defining project scope and recommending deliverables, resources, and budgets for training initiatives
Leading curriculum development and updating content, instructional materials, and testing processes
Adapting course delivery methods to meet specific business learning objectives
Acting as a lead instructor in mechanical, electrical, or quality assurance disciplines
Coordinating system access requirements for training participants
Identifying performance gaps and implementing solutions that drive measurable improvements
Supporting implementation of development tools and monitoring success metrics
This role offers flexible scheduling between 1st shift (5:30 AM – 2:30 PM) and 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), with openings primarily on 2nd shift. Some 1st shift work may be required during training periods.
What You Bring: Qualifications that Lift You Above
Required:
3+ years of experience in employee training, development, or instructional delivery
Strong background in mechanical, electrical, or quality assurance environments
Proven skills in instructional design, facilitation, and performance improvement
Ability to translate technical subject matter into clear, actionable learning experiences
Preferred:
Aerospace or advanced manufacturing training experience
Familiarity with adult learning methodologies and development tools
Experience with performance analysis and process improvement initiatives

Pay Details: $43.59 to $48.44 per hour
