The Boeing Company is seeking a Communications Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join the team in Seattle, WA or Renton, WA.

Position Responsibilities:
What you’ll do:
Collaborates to develop clear, compelling content that connects with audiences and answers the critical question: “Why does this matter?”
Creates attention-grabbing headlines, teasers, and body copy that resonate and draw readers in
Uses video, imagery and graphics not just as decoration, but as integral elements that enhance and deepen understanding of the story
Becomes an expert in our advanced publishing tools to strategically and seamlessly integrate text, visuals, and multimedia into polished, meaningful content packages for a diverse set of channels

About the role: As part of Boeing Corporate & Employee Communications, you will be a key contributor and promoter of Boeing News Now — our flagship employee news channel. You will help guide the flow of news and information across an ecosystem of platforms, including websites, targeted newsletters, digital signage, and mobile app.
This role requires close collaboration with colleagues in social media, media relations, business units, and with international teammates to ensure a high standard of strategic, impactful storytelling that highlights Boeing’s people, products and purpose
Basic qualifications (required skills/experience):
3+ years’ experience with content creation, including creating and editing copy, images and using video
3+ years’ experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
3+ years’ experience distilling complex, technical and abstract concepts into concise messaging and stories
Preferred Qualifications (desired skills/experience):
5+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Proven experience using good judgment in guiding and crafting content
Experience in corporate communications, public relations or news media
Experience producing, writing, and editing communications plans, strategies and deliverables
Experience supporting executives and/or senior leaders

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as spanet and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Level 3: $86,700 – $117,300
Summary pay range for Level 4: $108,800 - $147,200
