Analyst Drug & Alcohol Compliance
Position Summary
The Analyst Drug & Alcohol Compliance supports JetBlue Airways’ Drug and Alcohol Programs. The Analyst analyzes and processes results, implements regulations, and prepares compliance reports. The Analyst maintains all files, databases, SharePoint, and spreadsheets as well as monitors Drug and Alcohol scheduling and test results.
Essential Responsibilities
- Ensures all regulatory requirements are met for new hires/transfers, including drug testing and 40.25/8060 requests
- Reviews and processes drug & alcohol collections, results, and related documents for accuracy, ensuring program compliance and “audit readiness”
- Update the Human Resources Information System and Intranet daily and weekly for relevant drug & alcohol activities
- Maintains drug and alcohol record database (SAP, SharePoint, and WFQA)
- Manages all Department of Transportation (DOT) positive files
- Prepares both standardized and ad hoc presentations, reports, statistics and analysis of program performance
- Administrative support on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspection preparation
- Works with business partners to secure and maintain collection sites and supplies in accordance with JetBlue standards and mandatory compliance
- Instructs various DOT Drug and Alcohol Policy classes
- Supports new hire orientation
- Supports and is cross trained in all administrative functions of the department
- Schedules drug and alcohol collections in accordance with Federal and State regulations in tandem with JetBlue and business partner policies and standards
- Responsible for drug & alcohol collections and will adhere to all drug and alcohol collector requirements as outlined in 49 CFR part 40 and 14 CFR part 120
- Responsible for our on-call phone duties rotation as assigned
- All other duties as assigned
